Glen Scotia’s line-up showcases their versatility, as they produced a range of peated and non-peated whiskies, two styles characteristic of Campbelltown. Their malt is sourced from eastern Scotland, and are crafted in open-topped, cast iron mash tuns, and their whiskies are processed with a variation in fermentation time yielding either nuttier, or fruitier malts. Their small-batch distillation process still maintains much of the original equipment designs dating back to the 1830s.This 1992 Campbeltown single malt vintage is a Gordon and Macphail bottling, released as a part of the MacPhail's Collection. Aged for over two decades and bottled in 2014, this incredible single malt has signature Glen Scotia characteristics of fresh fruit and grassy notes.

About Gordon & MacPhail
Situated in the Speyside region of Scotland, Glenburgie Distillery (pronounced glen-burg-ee) sits just off the main Aberdeen-Inverness road between the burghs of Forres and Elgin. The distillery was founded in 1810 by William Paul, who originally named it Kilnflat. In 1878, however, the distillery changed hands and was renamed Glenburgie. The distillery's unique location and water source — it is surrounded by temperate and fertile terrain and sources water from local springs on nearby Burghie Hill — contribute to the fruity, floral whisky that Glenburgie produces.In 1935, the distillery was acquired by Hiram Walker; since then, the whisky produced at Glenburgie has been an essential component in Ballantine's Whisky. As a result, there are few official bottlings of Glenburgie Single Malt Whiskey and the chance to obtain one is exceedingly rare.
Founded in 1895, Gordon & MacPhail is a family-owned, independent bottler of Scotch whisky. The company was founded by James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail, who opened "in New, Centrical, and Commodious Premises, No's 38 and 40 South Street... a Family Grocers, Tea, Wine & Spirit Merchant,"reported the Elgin Courant on May 24, 1895. Among the company's first employees was John Urquhart, a fifteen year-old apprentice who helped James Gordon select and purchase casks of whisky to bottle and sell at the store. When MacPhail retired in March 1915, Urquhart became a partner in the business, and when Gordon died suddenly just two weeks later, Urquhart became the senior partner. By 1950, Gordon & MacPhail held one of the largest inventories of bottled malt whiskies in the entire world, many of which were not available anywhere else.

The Patrón Spirits Company was launched in 1989 by John Paul DeJoira and Martin Crowley. With its inception, came the world’s first ultra-premium Tequila. A new state-of-the-art facility was constructed in Jalisco in 2002, to facilitate its profound reception. It became the first spirits brand in its class to sell one million cases.Francisco Alcaraz is the Master Distiller & Blender behind the recipe for the Mexican spirit. Produced at the Hacienda de Patrón, the distillery sources agaves from Los Altos in Jalisco. Their signature line up is created using a hybrid technique: half of the agaves are traditionally tahona-crushed, while the other half are modern roller-mill crushed agaves. The freshly milled desert succulents are slow-roasted in an oven, before being fermented in wooden vats.

About Tomatin 25 Year Old 1988 Batch 1 Limited Release
Tomatin Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from plump, Scottish barley. After the barley is harvested, it is mashed and fermented before being distilled twice through Tomatin's copper-pot stills. The stills have a round, flat shape that gives the whisky a rounder and sweeter flavor profile. The distillery has produced several beautiful whiskies, full of character, including their distinguished 25 year.This expression is one of three batches in this Tomatin 1988 series. This vintage is from April of 2014, vatted from a combination of traditional oak casks and some of the finest ex-Tawny Port pipes, for a sweet and fresh spirit that smells like “breakfast in a glass.” Like the majority of Tomatin expressions, this whisky comes with a long list of accolades including gold and double gold medals at the 2015, 2016 and 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competitions. About Ledaig 19 Year Old Marsala Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The whisky is made exclusively from Scottish barley that is dried directly over a peat flame. Once the grains have been dried, they are milled and mashed with water drawn from Mary's Well before being fermented for nearly four days in washbacks made of Oregon Pine. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled twice, first through one of Tobermory's copper-pot wash stills, and again through one of Tobermory's copper-pot spirit stills.The unique Ledaig spirit is matured in premium oak wood casks for 19 years before being finished in distinctive Marsala wine casks. The end result is a deep, rich, decadent, smoky single malt.

Situated on the Isle of Mull, the quaint village of Tobermory was founded in 1788 by fishermen who began using it as a resting place during their fishing expeditions in the Sound of Mull. Bruichladdich is an award-winning distillery employing generations of distilling knowledge and the principle of minimal intervention. Built in 1881 on the wild Scottish island of Islay, their distillery still uses the original Victorian equipment to create a range of single malt whiskies that are trickle distilled, matured and bottled solely on Islay by a skilled team of men and women. Bruichladdich implements revolutionary, modern interpretations of time-honored ideas and challenges the comfortable conventions of a whisky establishment.Rejecting the onset of modern automation and homogenization, Bruichladdich Head Distiller, Adam Hannett, only considers production methods that place the quality of liquid above everything else. Diversity starts in the field. Provenance is key. They believe the interaction of man, land, soil and climate is paramount. They value their farmer relationships, reconnecting that lost cycle between farmer and distiller -- land and spirit.
The modern Bruichladdich Distillery is known as the most experimental and adventurous of the Scottish distilleries. Head distiller Adam Hannett has released a series of three very old Bruichladdich whiskies that he describes as ‘The last of their kind.” The final three parcels of casks from distillations in 1984, 1985 and 1986 have now been bottled at the Islay distillery. Adam says: “These rare, old single malts are a direct link to our past, to the men who made truly special spirit here while facing very different circumstances to those which we enjoy today. Testament to their skill and hard work it was laid down to mature by the shores of Loch Indaal, unaware of what the future might bring.
This 1985: Hidden Glory expression “comes from the final 22 casks of legacy stock originally filled into gentle third fill bourbon casks that lay untouched until 2012 when it was re-casked into fresh Bourbon before a final coup de grace in French oak from one of the greatest French chateaux” (producer).

This 1984: "All In" expression is drawn from the last 12 casks of classic Bourbon-aged Bruichladdich, a style Adam considers to be: “the ultimate expression of our spirit. The fruit, the faint salt tang, the signature elegance is all there with layer upon layer of vanilla/butterscotch complexity.” The unpeated vintage i s aged for 32 years and is a limited release of 3,000 bottles.

About Adelphi Selection Glen Garioch 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in the village of Old Meldrum in the Scottish Highlands, the Glen Garioch (pronounced Glen Geery) Distillery was founded in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson. The distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland, and takes its name from the Valley of the Garioch, which is situated adjacent to the distillery and is known for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland. The distillery — the most easterly in Scotland — enjoys the temperate climate and cool breeze that are ideal for the production and maturation of whisky.Glen Garioch Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from barley harvested from the Valley of the Garioch. After the barley has been harvested, it is mashed and fermented with water drawn from the Silent Spring. In 1968, production of whisky at Glen Garioch Distillery was suspended as the area surrounding the distillery experienced a severe drought. Four years later, an incredibly pure spring was discovered upon a neighboring farm. The Silent Spring, as it came to be known, could neither be seen nor heard without modern instruments, and has been Glen Garioch's water source for over four decades. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice — first through Glen Garioch copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still.
This Adelphi Selection is non chill filtered, and bottled without any additives. Each bottling is very limited, each cask yielding anywhere between 100 and 700 bottles. “Identifying only the very best casks allows us to offer a range of styles and regions with our panel of professional ‘noses’ chaired by world authority on Scotch whisky and Master of the Quaich, Charles MacLean” (producer). This beautiful single malt has rich notes of chocolate and butter y caramel.

Tesseron Royal Blend was originally commissioned for a royal family. The selection from extremely old Grande Champagne cognacs was chosen from the Tesseron family private collection. Chosen for their exceptional fruity and floral aromas, this cognac is a blend of cognacs crafted from Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes, all of which have been aged for a minimum of 2 generations.Royal Blend is matured for 2 months in Limousin oak before spending around 50 years in Tierçons barrels that are them- selves 50-60 years old (making them some of the oldest and most precious barrels in cognac) which are used exclusively for the rarest cognacs. This extraordinary blend, aged for two generations, is bottled in hand-blown glass created by a master glassblower and faithful replicas of the ones found in the family's treasured Paradis cellar. Only 1,000 bottles of Royal Blend were produced for the world.

About Tesseron Cognac
Tesseron Cognac was founded in 1905 by Abel Tesseron. During this time the cognac house was split between two estates, one situated in the Grande Champagne area (Boneuil) and the other in Petite Champagne (Saint-Surin). The eaux-de-vie was stocked and carefully conserved in a twelfth-century crypt. Treasured amongst a small circle of connoisseurs, Tesseron always been sought after.Tesseron is now run by the third and fourth generations of Tesserons. Alfred Tesseron is the third generation of Tesseron men with deep roots in the authentic traditions of cognac and wine production. He inherited the gift of creating elegant cognacs from his father, Guy Tesseron, having spent his youth in France, he worked in America for a leading US distributor, before contributing to one most successful Grand Crus in Paulliac, Medoc. Melanie and Justine are the fourth generations of Tesserons. Joining the family business in 2005, both having experience in the spirits industry.
The doors of the Tesseron home in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente lead to a unique collection of the finest cognacs. A treasure trove of spirit dating back to the nineteenth century when Abel Tesseron acquired the property to begin his priceless collection. A tradition kept alive by his son and grandson Alfred, who run the business and well as own the prestigious Château Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac Classified Growth in 1855.
Uniquely all three traditional Cognac grape varieties Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard are still grown on the Tesseron estates. The Folle Blanche and Colombard varieties have pretty much disappeared in the region, as they are challenging to cultivate and produce small crops, but these varieties add a valuable extra dimension to the final blend. The grapes are gathered during the long, warm, sunn y days of early autumn and fermented to produce a low strength, acidic wine of approximately 8% ABV.
The distillation is strictly overseen during October through March of the following year. The cognacs are double-distilled in gleaming copper 'pot' stills heated by a naked flame. Only the 'heart' of distillation makes it into the final Cognac. The Tesseron cellars —dating back to the 13th century— were once part of the crypt of the local church.
Here the young 'eaux-de-vie' is laid to rest, left to age quietly, maturing in old oak casks for many years. The casks are crafted from ancient oaks, felled in the nearby forests of Limousin. During maturation the cognac gently oxidizes, absorbing the soft tannins from the old oak casks.
Tesseron Cognacs have great complexity and depth, taking many years to develop, as the 'maître de chai' crafts a subtle blend of three grape varieties: Ugni Blanc (for roundness), Folle Blanche (for finesse) and Colombard for (strength and depth). Each cask and eau-de-vie variety imparts a special nuance to the final blend.
About Cognac
Cognac is a type of brandy produced in the Cognac region of France.
Because the French take it very seriously, there are numerous rules cognac makers have to follow not to fall “short” into the brandy category.
The white wine from the specific grapes (Ugni blanc) has to be doubly distilled in a copper pot still before being aged for at least two years in oak casks from which the wood can only come from two specific forests in France (Limousin or Tronçais).
Depending on the age, there are three types of cognac, the youngest V.S. (Very Special), V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale), and the X.O. (Extra Old)

Linkwood Distillery is a whisky distillery in Elgin in the Speyside region. The distillery was built in 1821 by Peter Brown, equipped with two stills, beginning production in 1825 with potential output of 4,500 liters per year. The distillery remained operated by James Walker (who had previously worked at Arberlour) until Brown's death in 1868, after which the distillery got under came under the control of his son, William Brown.Between 1872 and 1873 William Brown, revamped the distillery with the help of architect Methven, after replacing the old facility at the same location, the new distillery was equipped with a capacity of 227,000 liters per year. After William Brown’s death in 1893, Linkwood-Glenlivet was created by the Browns family in 1898, adopting the famous moniker in an attempt to cash in on the success of Glenlivet. The distillery was then further extended to a capacity of 454,000 liters per year.
After changing hands several times, the company is now owned by the industry giant Diageo, who added two extra pairs of stills and tripled whisky production at Linkwood. They produce blends for Johnnie Walker, Haig, Bells and White Horse.
Linkwood is now a workhorse of the Diageo machine producing whisky for blends such as Johnnie Walker, Haig, Bells and White Horse with only a very small 2% used for single malts. This 26-year-old Linkwood is from independent bottler Cadenhead's as a part of their small batch series. This whisky was produced in 1989 and bottled in 2016.

This artisanal mezcal blanco is crafted from agave cupreata that grows wild in the deciduous forests in northern Guerrero. The process begins with fresh local stream water and the agave is crushed by hand, fermented in small oak wooden vats before distillation in copper alembic stills. The result are mellow aromas of mature tropical fruits, orange blossom, and light smoke that develop into rich flavors of bittersweet chocolate and orange peel on the palate.Mezcal de Leyendas is focused on bringing artisanal mezcals using rare and unique agaves from different regions within Mexico. Instead of focusing on one particular type, their aim is to use the most prevalent agaves from each region allowing them to guide the consumer across the entire DO of mezcal. These are sourced from diverse regions, highlighting the local terroir as well as showcasing the skills of local Maestros Mezcaleros. Each region ― be it Durango, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Puebla, or San Luis Potosi ― features one master producer of mezcal.
But they do far more than just that. In 2005 they opened the first Mexico City establishment that only sells artisanal mezcal helping spark the boom we see in mezcal today. They organize festivals and work to h elp the industry grow, educate, and take part in projects that deal with sustainability and fair trade ― both crucial aspects of securing a bright future for the famous Mexican spirits.
