Return and Refund Policy

Florida Discount Beverage is committed to customer satisfaction while complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages in the State of Florida.

Because we sell regulated products (beer, wine, and distilled spirits), our return and refund policy is subject to specific legal restrictions. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase.

This policy applies to all purchases made in-store and, where applicable, online or for in-store pickup.


2. Eligibility for Returns

Due to Florida alcohol beverage regulations and health and safety standards:

  • Alcoholic beverages are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once they leave the store.

  • We cannot accept returns of alcoholic products for taste preference, change of mind, or ordering errors made by the customer.

However, returns or exchanges may be permitted in the following circumstances:

A. Defective or Damaged Products

We may offer an exchange or store credit if:

  • The product is unopened and contains a manufacturer defect.

  • The product was damaged at the time of purchase.

  • There is a verified quality issue (e.g., corked wine).

Proof of purchase is required.

B. Incorrect Item Provided

If you received an incorrect item due to a store error:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of purchase.

  • The item must be unopened and in original condition.

We will provide an exchange for the correct product, subject to availability.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened alcoholic beverages (unless verified defective)

  • Products returned without proof of purchase

  • Clearance or final sale items (if marked as such at time of sale)

  • Gift cards

  • Special-order items

  • Products damaged after leaving the store (unless due to manufacturing defect)


4. Return Timeframe

If eligible, return requests must be made:

  • Within 14 days.

Our Return Window is 14 days. Requests made outside this timeframe may be denied.


5. Condition Requirements

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • The product must be unopened (unless defective).

  • The original packaging must be intact.

  • The receipt or proof of purchase is required.

  • A valid government-issued photo ID may be required.

Florida Discount Beverage reserves the right to inspect all returned merchandise before approving any exchange or credit.


6. Refund Method

If a return is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.

  • Cash purchases will be refunded in cash.

  • Debit/credit card refunds will be processed back to the original card.

  • If a refund to the original payment method is not possible, store credit may be issued at management discretion.

Our Refund Processing time is 7 days.

Florida Discount Beverage accepts eligible returns through the following methods:

  • Mail Returns:
    Customers must contact us within the return window to request return authorization before mailing any item.

    Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or store error. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

  • Returned items must meet all eligibility conditions outlined in this policy.

  • Refunds are processed after inspection and approval.


8. Exchanges

Approved exchanges are subject to product availability and compliance with Florida alcohol regulations.

If the replacement item has a higher price, the customer is responsible for the difference. If lower, a refund or store credit may be issued for the difference.


9. Online Orders & Pickup (If Applicable)

If ordering online for in-store pickup:

  • Orders must be inspected at the time of pickup.

  • Any discrepancies must be reported before leaving the premises.

  • Once the product leaves the store, standard alcohol return restrictions apply.

We do not accept returns for shipping errors caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.


10. Age & Legal Compliance

All alcohol sales are final to individuals who:

  • Are 21 years of age or older

  • Present valid government-issued photo identification

We strictly follow Florida law regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages. We reserve the right to refuse service or deny a return in compliance with state regulations.


11. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us directly at support@floridadiscountbeverage.com before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving billing concerns promptly and fairly.

Fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed and reported in accordance with applicable law.


12. Policy Changes

Florida Discount Beverage reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Returns Policy at any time to remain compliant with Florida state law and federal regulations. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
