About Adelphi Selection Glen Garioch 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated in the village of Old Meldrum in the Scottish Highlands, the Glen Garioch (pronounced Glen Geery) Distillery was founded in 1797 by John and Alexander Manson. The distillery is one of the oldest in Scotland, and takes its name from the Valley of the Garioch, which is situated adjacent to the distillery and is known for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland. The distillery — the most easterly in Scotland — enjoys the temperate climate and cool breeze that are ideal for the production and maturation of whisky.Glen Garioch Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from barley harvested from the Valley of the Garioch. After the barley has been harvested, it is mashed and fermented with water drawn from the Silent Spring. In 1968, production of whisky at Glen Garioch Distillery was suspended as the area surrounding the distillery experienced a severe drought. Four years later, an incredibly pure spring was discovered upon a neighboring farm. The Silent Spring, as it came to be known, could neither be seen nor heard without modern instruments, and has been Glen Garioch's water source for over four decades. Once the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice — first through Glen Garioch copper-pot wash still and then again through its spirit still.
This Adelphi Selection is non chill filtered, and bottled without any additives. Each bottling is very limited, each cask yielding anywhere between 100 and 700 bottles. “Identifying only the very best casks allows us to offer a range of styles and regions with our panel of professional ‘noses’ chaired by world authority on Scotch whisky and Master of the Quaich, Charles MacLean” (producer). This beautiful single malt has rich notes of chocolate and butter y caramel.

About Angel's Envy
After graduating college, Lincoln Henderson joined Brown-Forman as a grain chemist and was eventually promoted to Master Distiller. During his 40-year tenure at Brown-Forman, he honed his skills while developing new brands such as Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Jack Daniel Distillery "Gentleman Jack" and Jack Daniel Distillery Single Barrel Whiskey. In addition to being responsible for the development of new products, Henderson oversaw quality control, technical distillery supervision, and sensory evaluation. "I never regretted a day when I had to go to work," says Henderson, who was awarded Malt Advocate's Lifetime Achievement Award and was an inaugural member of the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.After retiring from Brown-Forman, Henderson decided to go rogue and launched Angel's Envy Bourbon. "Angel's Envy is a lot of things," said Henderson. "It's my life's work. It's a whiskey of incomparable smoothness. It takes into account over 200 years of bourbon heritage an d mingles it with over 400 years of port wine heritage." The name is derived from the term "angel's share" ― the portion of whiskey that evaporates as it ages in wooden barrels. After tasting the bourbon, Henderson realized that the angels might want a larger cut. The family operation is now run by his son Wes Henderson.

Following the conquest, Frances Dickinson — a soldier in Venables' army — was granted land in exchange for his honorable services. This land would eventually become the foundation of the Appleton Estate.Since 1749, the Appleton Estate has been crafting some of the world's finest rum from sugarcane grown on it's 11,000 acre estate. Once the sugarcane is harvested, it is fermented with exceptionally soft water that originates on the Estate and is naturally filtered through limestone hills. Eighth generation Beam family member Freddie Noe comes from a long line of legendary distillers. In 2017 he achieved his vision of making his own line of whiskey, launching Little Book Whiskey. With over 220 years of tradition on his shoulders, he had some pretty large shoes to fill.Named in honor of the nickname Freddie’s grandfather Booker gave him: Little Book. This annual whiskey series features new, unique blends every year—his first batch of liquid gold was released in 2017 Little Book Chapter 1: The Easy Blended Straight Whiskey. Uncut, unfiltered and always one-of-a-kind, each small batch is a limited release, allowing Freddie innovate and explore the limitless potential of flavor.
Little Book Chapter 3 is the first Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in the Little Book line from Freddie Noe. “The Road Home” references the road that I travel to and from on a regular basis, the same road my grandfather, Booker, traveled back when he used to work here at the distillery,” says Noe.
Little Book Chapter 3 is a blend of four barrel-strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskeys, one from each brand of the original Small Batch Bourbon Collection created by Freddie Noe’s grandfather Booker Noe in the early 1990s. The limited-edition blend consists of a nine-year-old Knob Creek and Basil Hayden’s Bourbons, an 11-year-old Booker’s Bourbon and a 12-year-old Baker’s Bourbon.
“The four liquids that I chose to go into this batch of Little Book are from the original small batch collection that my grandfather, Booker, created,” says Noe. The eighth-generation distiller tinkered with 57 different recipes before landing on the final blend, recipe number 51: a palate loaded with complexity from the vanilla, wood and caramel notes from the Knob Creek and Booker’s Bourbons, balanced by the “spiciness” of Basil Hayden’s. The Baker’s Bourbon imparts a lingering, warm and sweet finish.

About Highland Park Odin Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated just a few miles north of Scotland's mainland, the Orkney archipelago was occupied by a number of different nomadic and belligerent tribes for centuries. In 875, however, the islands were annexed by Norway and settled by the Norse, who began using the archipelago as a base for Viking raids across Europe. In 1468, the islands were pledged by King Christian I of Norway as a dowry to James III of Scotland, and since then, the islands connection with Scotland has been perpetual. Highland Park Distillery is situated in Kirkwall — the capital of the Orkney islands — and was founded in 1798 by Magnus Eunson. The name of the distillery is derived not from the region of Scotland known as The Highlands (the Orkney islands are not a part of The Highlands) but rather from the region known as High Park, where the distillery was founded.Highland Park Odin is the final of four releases in the Valhalla Collection available from Highland Park Distillery. Odin pays homage to the eponymous Norse god, the dominant Allfather and King of Asgard known for his furious and intensely complex character. According to the distillery, “Odin is the strongest of all the Norse gods and driven by an unquenchable thirst for wisdom. By sacrificing an eye for a drink from the Well of Wisdom, he earned immeasurable knowledge and insight. With only one eye which blazes like the sun, Odin cuts an ominous figure.”
Highland Park Freya Single Malt Whisky is made from lightly peated barley, which is mashed and fermented before being twice distilled through Highland Park's copper-pot stills. Following distillation, the whisky is matured for 16 years in 250 litre hogshead casks which previously housed sherry — the whisky starts in refill sherry casks before being transferred to first fill sherry casks for the final four years of aging. Much like the god it pays homage to, Odin is complex and foreboding, and is housed in a black, battle-worn bottle within a wooden Viking ship. The whisky itself is straw gold in color with an aroma of molasses, sweet cinnamon and raisins. Notes of walnuts, dark chocolate and orange peel appear on the palate over a layer of peat, and lead to a smoky finish with hints plums and gingersnaps.
