Benromach 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
About Benromach 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Benromach 25 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky was crafted by the previous owners of the distillery. The whisky was made exclusively from malted barley, which was milled and mashed before being fermented in the distillery's wooden washbacks (the washbacks, which are the same washbacks Gordon & MacPhail continue to use, are made of European Larch). While wooden washbacks are more expensive and difficult to maintain as compared to stainless steel washbacks, they absorb a portion of the heat generated during fermentation, and thus allow for a more elegant and refined whisky. Following fermentation, the whisky was aged for a quarter century in refill American hogshead casks. As a result of its 25-year beautyrest, the whisky has an aroma of butterscotch and fruit (particularly pears, mango and papaya). The aroma gives way to notes of orange marmalade, fruit compote and honeyed oak on the palate, with hints of toffee and simmering spices on the finish. Benromach 25 Year Old earned a score of 92 points from Whisky Intelligence. Pick up a bottle today!About Benromach
Situated on the outskirts of the ancient Royal Borough of Forres, Benromach Distillery was founded in 1898 by Duncan McCallum, a former distiller at the Glen Nevis Distillery in Campbeltown, and FW Brickman, a former spirits broker from Edinburgh. After just two short years of operation, McCallum and Brickman were forced to close the doors to Benromach Distillery and since then, the distillery has changed hands a number of times. In 1993, malt whisky specialists Gordon & MacPhail acquired the distillery and began refurbishing it. The experts at Gordon & MacPhail took five years to re-equip the distillery with two new stills and secure the water rights to Champelton Springs in Romach Hills. On October 15, 1998, Benromach Di stillery was officially reopened by Prince Charles of Wales.About Scotch
Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.) Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt. About Bhakta Spirits
Raj Peter Bhakta is many things: an entrepreneur, a political candidate, even a reality show contestant. He founded WhistlePig in 2007, eventually selling it in 2019. Then, he set his sights on a fresh project, embarking on a quest to find something rare and exquisite ― a venture that would shake up the spirits industry. In France, he discovered a cellar, filled with armagnacs that were distilled between 1868 and 1970. He envisioned an ancient brandy, tailored to the tastes of whiskey lovers. Thus, Bhakta 50 was born.About Brandy

Black Button Single Barrel Apple Brandy Finished Bourbon
About Black Button Single Barrel Apple Brandy Finished Bourbon
Black Button Apple Brandy Finished Bourbon comes from their reserves. It's a single-barrel release. The spirit spent 2 years in its American white oak cask (no. 2073) before being transferred into a freshly harvested apple brandy barrel, where it spent another 2 and a half years. About Black Button
In 2012, Jason Barrett became the head distiller and founder of Black Button Distilling – at only 24 years old. Coming from a family of the finest men's suit buttons makers, worn by "Presidents, Popes, Kings, and Businessmen the world over", Barret worked in his grandfather’s factory when he was younger, but soon realized he wanted to carve out his own path. After graduating, Barrett returned to his hometown of Rochester, New York, to follow his passion – make whiskey and open a craft distillery, the first in Rochester since Prohibition times. Named Black Button because of a family inside joke – Barret is color blind and the family always joked that they’d need to produce only black buttons if we were to take over the family business – every small batch of Black Button spirits is made from local NY grains with over 90% of ingredients grown or produced in New York State. Everything from corn, wheat, rye, and barley to dairy cream and apple cider comes from family farms in New York State to s upport local and sustainable agriculture. They even grow their own juniper for Black Button gin at the Black Button Farm in South Bristol. Besides whiskey and gin, Black Button’s wide range includes vodka, moonshine, and liqueur.

Jack Daniel’s Holiday Barrel Select Limited Edition Tennessee Whiskey
About Jack Daniel's Holiday Barrel Select Limited Edition Tennessee Whiskey
Jack Daniel's Holiday Select Tennessee Whiskey pays homage to Jack Daniels through the creation of rich new tradition in his hometown of Lynchburg, TN . Each year, the Jack Daniel's Distillery now erects a Barrel Tree — 140 barrels stacked 8 metres tall and hand-built by workers in Lynchburg — in the center of Lynchburg's town square. Once a year, whiskey from those barrels is then bottled straight from the Barrel Tree in a celebration of Jack Daniel's spirit, making each annual release truly one-of-a-kind.The whiskey is made from a mash of corn, rye and malted barley. Once the ingredients have been mashed, they are fermented with a proprietary strain of yeast and iron-free cave spring water. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled and the resulting whiskey is then filtered through 10 feet of charcoal. This filtering process, known as the Lincoln County Process, earns the whiskey the title of "Tennessee Whiskey" and imparts a signature, sweet yet smoky flavor profile.
As a result of maturing in the Barrel Tree, Jack Daniel's Holiday Barrel Select Limited Edition Tennessee Whiskey releases an aroma of rich apple and blackberry tones countered with sweet, heavy oak notes. Apple and oak follow through in the taste, while stronger undercurrents of cinnamon and nutmeg linger warmly on the finish.

About Jack Daniel's
Born on September 5, 1850, Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel was the youngest of ten children. His parents were of Scottish and Irish descent. In 1864, Jack learned the art of whiskey-making from a preacher and an enslaved man named Nathan “Nearest” Green, who eventually became Jack Daniel Distillery’s head distiller. Daniel’s distillery —founded in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in 1866— was the first registered distillery in the country ( at the time, distilleries were required to register with the federal government, and the Jack Daniel Distillery was given Registered Distillery Number 1). Today, Jack Daniel Distillery is one of the most distinguished and recognizable names in the spirits industry.About American Whiskey
There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don't fall into those two strictly regulated categories.
There's equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.
And then there's moonshine, a high proof (150- 170 proof) distilled spirit mainly made out of corn which gained popularity during the prohibition.
