About Samaroli 19 Year Old 1996 Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky
Born in Bologna, Italy, just over 70 years ago, Silvano Samaroli has been hand-selecting and bottling the world's finest whiskies since 1968. When he began his career, Samaroli was the only non-British independent bottler in the world. Today, bottlers such as Compass Box Whisky Co. and Gordon & MacPhail have joined Samaroli in blending casks to produce a whisky greater than the sum of its parts.Samaroli Speyside Blended Malt is a vatting of single casks whiskies from Benriach and Glentauchers, the whiskies were aged for 19 years in American oak before being bottled in 2015. You can expect complex notes of peaches, pears, on the nose with light cream. The palate is light and creamy with a delightful citrus followed by a decadent white chocolate finish! This superb Samaroli is bottled at 43% ABV.

About Scotch
Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique p roperties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)
Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.

About Smoke Wagon
The story of Nevada H & C Distilling Co. began in 2004 when the screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh met co-founder Aaron Chepenik in a bar in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. They quickly realized they had the same vision for opening a bar - The Griffin, together. After a couple of years of sampling their inventory, they began discussing what they liked and didn't like about the bourbons and vodkas they were selling. One night, the idea of creating their own spirits popped up, which eventually led to them opening the first distillery in the city of Las Vegas. The City Council had to create a license, especially for them since none existed beforehand. It took 6 years of gathering equipment and setting it up, with several hurdles along the way. The bright side was that by the time they opened their doors, they had several high-rye bourbons ready, which meant they could begin operating immedia tely.
They have two brands under their belt now, both with several medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition: Silver Dollar and Smoke Wagon.
About Bourbon
There are not many things more American than bourbon, and although most of it is produced in Kentucky, it can be produced all over the USA.
It must be made with at least 51% corn and bottled at 40% ABV or higher. So why not give this American classic a try?

Springbank 15 Year Old, 16 Year Old & 17 Year Old Single Malt Whiskies – Three Pack
About Springbank 15 Year Old, 16 Year Old & 17 Year Old Single Malt Whiskies - Three Pack
Nearly two centuries ago, the town of Campbeltown, located on a narrow peninsula in southwest Scotland, was considered the whisky capital of the world. Passengers arriving by sea at Campbeltown Loch, nestled between Macringan's Point and the rocky island of Davaar, were greeted with the sails and masts of the herring fishing fleet and the smoking chimneys of nearly thirty different distilleries that called Campbeltown home. Two hundred years later, Campbeltown Loch is considerably quieter and only three chimneys continue to billow smoke — each acting as a beacon for an industry that, at one point, dominated the peninsula. In 1828, Springbank Distillery was founded on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illicit still in Campbeltown (today, Mitchell's great-great-great-grandson owns the distillery). Within ten years, its whisky was so well-regarded that a blender by the name of John Walker purchased 118 gallons of whisky from Springbank at 43 pence a gallon.
By the turn of the century — as worldwide demand for Scotch whisky seemed insatiable — distilleries throughout Scotland began cutting corners and outsourcing parts of the distillation process. Springbank Distillery, however, remained true to its Scottish heritage. Today, it remains one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step of the whisky making process — from malting barley to bottling whisky — on the same premises.
After malting and lightly peating the barley (using locally cut peat), Springbank Distillery mills and mashes it in cast-iron mash tuns that are nearly a century old. The pure spring water used during the mashing process is sourced from Crosshill Loch, which in turn is fed by crystal clear water seeping down the northern slopes of 1100-foot tall Beinn Ghuilean Mountain. After mashing the grains, the wash is slowly fermented over the course of 70 hours — one of the longest fermentation processes in Scotland — before being distilled 2.5 times (because some of the wash is distilled twice and some is distilled three times, Springbank Whisky is said to be distilled 2.5 times).
Springbank 15 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in May 1997 and aged in a single, re-charred sherry cask. Bottled in December 2012, it has lush notes of cherries, figs and dates, that are well-balanced by touches of cinnamon, honey and malt. The finish, which is long and warming, e nds with a note of spice. Only 492 bottles of the whisky were ever produced.
Springbank 16 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in June 1996 and aged in a single, Amontillado sherry cask. Bottled in December 2012, it has notes of milk chocolate, figs and nougat that are complemented by hints of stone fruits and salty tang. Only 576 of this whisky were ever produced.
Springbank 17 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky was distilled in June 1995 and aged in a refill sherry cask. Bottled in December 2012, it has strong notes of plums, apricots, dates and cherries that lead to an everlasting, sweet finish. Only 438 bottles of this whisky were ever produced.

This sherry cask contributes notes of red plums, berries, dark citrus and caramel to the whisky. In addition, the strong, perennial sea winds along Campbeltown add a hint of salty tang to the whisky as it matures. Following its beautyrest, the whisky is bottled at cask strength without the use of any artificial coloring or chill filtration.

Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013 Edition Single Malt Whisky
About Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013 Edition Single Malt Whisky
The Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013 is made from 100% malted barley, which is milled and mashed before being fermented with water sourced from the foothills of Mount Tenno. The water is said to be have been preferred by Sen No Rikyu, Japan's legendary tea master. After the barley has been fermented, the wash is distilled through Suntory's copper-pot stills — the first of their kind outside of Scotland — before the whisky is aged in casks which used to hold oloroso sherry giving it a rich and fruity taste profile."This is all done by hand — the traditional way," says Osamu Abe, the manager of Yamazaki distillery, referring to the cooperage taking place at the distillery. "This is called yagura — craftsmanship. You must watch and listen to how they're made. In Japan, we say "use all 5 senses." Of course we learn from others, but our own senses are key.
Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013 was named "Whisky of the Year" by Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible.
About Yamazaki
In February 1899, Shinjiro Torii opened a store in Osaka, Japan, that imported and sold wine. Within a decade, Torii began producing his own sweet grape wine called Akadama Port Wine, which became wildly popular throughout the country. In 1923, Torri, who had been fascinated by whisky his entire life, decided to expand his business and began construction of the Yamazaki Distillery, Japan's first-ever whisky distillery.Although inspired by traditional Scottish distilleries, Torii envisioned a uniquely Japanese approach to whisky and chose a location for his distillery that offered a climate and terrain that were completely different to those of Scotland. Nestled on the periphery of Kyoto, Yamazaki Distillery is situated at the confluence of three rivers — the Katsura, Uji, and Kizu — that provide the warm, damp environment ideal for the production and maturation of whisky.
About Japanese Whisky
Although maybe not be the first Spirit you would think of when Japan is mentioned; the Japanese make one of the best types of whisky in the world. It’s heavily influenced by scotch but with smoother and delicate notes.
The history of the Japanese whisky is not even a century old, but in this short time, the Japanese blended and single malts have taken over the world by storm and can easily go against their whisk(e)y counterparts from across the globe.
