All Widow Jane whiskeys are proofed with pure limestone water from the legendary Rosendale Mines of NY, just 100 miles north of their home in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It was limestone from this mine that was used to build the foundation of some of New York’s greatest structures: the gargantuan caissons of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, and the 27,000-ton pedestal to the Statue of Liberty.This self-renewing source of water is naturally filtered through limestone and collects in the massive underground caverns. Comprised of an unusually high mineral content that enhances the natural flavors in Widow Jane spirits, this water is their fingerprint and a signature ingredient. Wild Turkey Master’s Keep 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the oldest whiskey ever released by Wild Turkey, and the first to be released since Eddie Russell joined his father as Master Distiller earlier in 2015. Distilled in 1997, when Wild Turkey encountered a surplus of bourbon and shortage of space, Eddie decided to move the bourbon that would become Master’s Keep to a stone warehouse 200 miles away. After 17 years, Eddie believed the barrels had reached their peak flavor, and transported them back to Wild Turkey’s wooden warehouses before bottling them. Interestingly, the bourbon had fallen to 86.8 proof, the cask strength at which it was then bottled.“Master’s Keep is the result of a lot of experimentation, patience and faith,” says Eddie Russell.
As a result of this unique aging process, Wild Turkey Master’s Keep 17 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey has a beautiful auburn color and aroma of caramel, vanilla, peaches, apricots and burnt sugar. The palate reveals big flavors of butterscotch, baking spices, blueberry pancakes and fresh maple, and leads to a refined finish marked by superb notes of citrus and toasted oak.

About Wild Turkey
Following the end of the American Civil War, the Ripy Brothers returned to their native state of Kentucky and, together, opened a distillery on the slopes of a hill in Lawrenceburg. The distillery operated continuously for nearly fifty years until the 18th Amendment, which prohibited the sale of alcohol in the United States, was ratified. Following the end of Prohibition, the Ripy Brothers Distillery was reopened, and a distillery executive named Thomas McCarthy took samples of maturing whiskey from the distillery on a turkey hunt with a group of friends. The follow ing year, his friends asked him to bring "some of that wild turkey whiskey" on their next hunt, giving birth to the distillery's new name.Today, Wild Turkey Distillery is stewarded by Master Distiller Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie Russell (together, the pair have over 90 years of experience producing bourbon). "I was born and raised in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky," says Jimmy, "which was a small community when I was growing up, but there were four bourbon distilleries here, and you had families working all the distilleries. You wanted to get in the business. My grandfather and my father, me, and now my son, we've all been in the business."

Lucky Seven Spirits was founded by best friends Michael Lahalin and John Pals. Both bourbon fans and cinema aficionados, the pair settled on the moniker Lucky 7, named after the legendary Stage 7 of the Warner Brothers lot, where countless classics such as Casablanca were filmed. Since the giant stage got a reputation for producing so many hits, it got the nickname "Lucky Stage 7."The pair sources and blends rare bourbons, only using the finest juice they can find and releasing them as limited editions: 12 YO "The Hold Up," 6 YO "The Jokester," and 12 YO Single Barrel "The Proprietor." They have won several medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, among others. As befits the Hollywood and movie history that permeates Lucky Seven, they have also created a series of short films that accompany each expression. Lucky Seven "The Proprietor" 12 YO Single Barrel Bourbon isn't a blend at all. This series consists of exceptional barrels that Lahalin and Pals deem too great to blend and instead get the single-barrel release treatment. 3 barrels have since been released: The smooth #5 has dried stone fruit notes, t he #7 has fruity oak, sweet dried fruit, and vanilla, and barrel #9 has brown sugar, molasses, and cantaloupe.

Dalmore Distillery 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whisky is part of the distillery's "Rare and Prestigious"collection. The whisky was distilled in 1974 and matured for approximately 32 years in casks that were previously used to mature bourbon. After its three-decade long beautyrest, the whisky was finished in a single, thirty-year old Matusalem sherry butt from the Gonzalez Byass for an additional four years. "Only the best selected American white oak cask is used during the maturation process," says Richard Paterson, Dalmore Distillery's Master Distiller, "but it is the unique Matusalem sherry butt from Gonzalez Byass that transforms it into something so rich and intense." The used sherry cask sourced from Spain contributes rich and opulent notes of raisins, caramelized orange, dates and figs to the whisky, and complement its notes of honeyed oak and cinnamon spice.Dalmore Distillery 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whisky has a rich, copper-reddish color, along with an aroma of roasted nuts, peach, honey and brown sugar. The notes of dried fruits, figs, raisins, cherries and raspberries complement notes of cola, cinnamon and woody spices, and add to a long, balanced finish. The whisky earned the Platinum Medal at the International Review of Spirits, and earned a score of 99 points from the Beverage Testing Institute, which said that the whisky was "amazingly rich and vibrant"and was blessed with a "a deep, feminine soul."

About The Dalmore
Situated along the banks of Cromarty Firth in the Highlands region of Scotland, Dalmore Distillery was founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, who had earned his fortune illegally importing opium from the Far East. In 1886, Matheson sold Dalmore Distillery to Clan MacKenzie, whose century-long stewardship and defining influence over the distillery is still evident today — the 12-point stag adorned on every bottle of Dalmore Distillery Whisky is derived from Clan MacKenzie's coat of arms.Dalmore Distillery Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from plump, golden barley sourced from the rich, coastal soils of the Black Isle. Once the barley has been harvested, it is milled and mashed before being fermented with water drawn from the Cromarty Firth. Prior to reaching the firth, however, the water travels from Loch Morie through a number of peat bogs and limestone quarries, and t hus, contributes a slightly mineral and chewy mouthfeel to the whisky.
Once the barley has been fermented, the wash is distilled twice, first through Dalmore Distillery's copper-pot wash stills and then again through its copper-pot spirit stills. The wash stills have an unusually flat top, while the spirit stills are equipped with cold water jackets. This unusual equipment — the water jackets rinse cold water near the top of the still — makes it difficult for the lighter elements of the whisky to pass through the still, and ultimately results in a more opulent and rich whisky.

About Bruichladdich Octomore 07.1 Scottish Barley Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Inspired by an entrepreneurial flair and a youthful enthusiasm, the Harvey brothers began construction of the Bruichladdich (pronounced brook-laddie or broo-lah-dee) Distillery in 1881. The brothers were descendants of a dynastic whisky family — their ancestors had already owned distilleries in Scotland for over a century. Today, Bruichladdich Distillery (Bruichladdich means "rocky shore" in ancient Gaelic) remains situated on the shores of Loch Indaal on the island of Islay, and continues to use much of the original equipment installed by the Harvey brothers.The modern Bruichladdich Distillery is known as the most experimental and adventurous of the Scottish distilleries, and the Bruichladdich Octomore Series represents a singularly unique expression in the world of Scotch whisky.
Bruichladdich Octomore 7.1 is the distillery’s final release under Master Distiller Jim McEwan’s tenure. The whisky takes its name from Octomore Farm, a farm situated high above the village of Port Charlotte, just two miles away from Bruichladdich Distillery (the farm provides all of the barley used to create the whisky). Harvested from mainland Scotland, the barley used in this release is then malted before being peated to an absurdly high 208 phenol parts per million, making it one of the peatiest whiskies in the world.
After the barley has been peated, it is mashed using water drawn from the Bruichladdich loch. The water is soft and devoid of minerality, which makes it ideal for mashing and fermenting the barley. Following fermentation, the wash is twice distilled through Bruichladdich's 130 year-old, 20-foot tall, diamond-shaped stills. The Victorian-era stills produce whisky that is notably floral and elegant. "We have a distillery," says Jim McEwan, the master distiller at Bruichladdich, "and we know how to use it."
Once the whisky has been distilled, it is matured for five years in American oak before being bottled at 119 proof without the use of chill filtration or artificial coloring. As a result, Bruichladdich Octomore 7.1 has a sandy color, with aromas of sea spray, caramel, lemon peel and tobacco. The palate is filled with bright notes of peach, citrus fruits and honey, and is complemented by heavier notes of chimney smoke and leather. The peat is evident on the finish, with bold flavors coming together for a long, memorable sensation.
“The feeling is of long summer nights turning cooler as autumn approaches. This dram will transport you to Islay, to watch the sun setting over the sea while breathing in the peat smoke hanging in the air,” says McEwan.
