About Gordon & Macphail's Glen Scotia 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 1992 Vintage
Glen Scotia’s line-up showcases their versatility, as they produced a range of peated and non-peated whiskies, two styles characteristic of Campbelltown. Their small-batch distillation process still maintains much of the original equipment designs dating back to the 1830s.This 1992 Campbeltown single malt vintage is a Gordon and Macphail bottling, released as a part of the MacPhail's Collection. Aged for over two decades and bottled in 2014, this incredible single malt has signature Glen Scotia characteristics of fresh fruit and grassy notes.

About Gordon & MacPhail
Situated in the Speyside region of Scotland, Glenburgie Distillery (pronounced glen-burg-ee) sits just off the main Aberdeen-Inverness road between the burghs of Forres and Elgin. The distillery was founded in 1810 by William Paul, who originally named it Kilnflat. In 1878, however, the distillery changed hands and was renamed Glenburgie. The distillery's unique location and water source — it is surrounded by temperate and fertile terrain and sources water from local springs on nearby Burghie Hill — contribute to the fruity, floral whisky that Glenburgie produces. In 1935, the distillery was acquired by Hiram Walker; since then, the whisky produced at Glenburgie has been an essential component in Ballantine's Whisky. As a result, there are few official bottlings of Glenburgie Single Malt Whiskey and the chance to obtain one is exceedingly rare.
Founded in 1895, Gordon & MacPhail is a family-owned, independent bottler of Scotch whisky. The company was founded by James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail, who opened "in New, Centrical, and Commodious Premises, No's 38 and 40 South Street... a Family Grocers, Tea, Wine & Spirit Merchant,"reported the Elgin Courant on May 24, 1895. Among the company's first employees was John Urquhart, a fifteen year-old apprentice who helped James Gordon select and purchase casks of whisky to bottle and sell at the store. When MacPhail retired in March 1915, Urquhart became a partner in the business, and when Gordon died suddenly just two weeks later, Urquhart became the senior partner. By 1950, Gordon & MacPhail held one of the largest inventories of bottled malt whiskies in the entire world, many of which were not available anywhere else.
About Scotch
Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)
Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.

Blood Oath Bourbon Pact No. 4 is Rempe’s latest creation and is the newest release in the renowned and highly sought-after Blood Oath series. “a fateful affair between Kentucky and California,” Blood Oath Bourbon Pact No. 4Blended from three phenomenal whiskies: a spirited, seven-year-old bourbon finished in cabernet sauvignon casks from California; and an incredibly smooth blend of 7 and 12-year old bourbons that provide a unique base that works very well with the, now signature, wine-finish trend. This well-aged bourbon blend is bottled at 98.6 proof, like its predecessors, and just like its predecessors, the visual presentation of the product is 'on par' with the quality of this whiskey.
This 4 Batch of Blood Oath Pact is more complex, combining toasted barrels with charred barrels. Springbank 25 Year Old 1969 Vintage
About Springbank 25 Year Old 1969 Vintage
Nearly two centuries ago, the town of Campbeltown, located on a narrow peninsula in southwest Scotland, was considered the whisky capital of the world. Passengers arriving by sea at Campbeltown Loch — nestled between Macringan's Point and the rocky island of Davaar — were greeted with the sails and masts of the herring fishing fleet and the smoking chimneys of nearly thirty different distilleries that called Campbeltown home. Two hundred years later, Campbeltown Loch is considerably quieter and only three chimneys continue to billow smoke — each acting as a beacon for an industry that, at one point, dominated the peninsula. In 1828, Springbank Distillery was founded on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illicit still in Campbeltown. (Today, Mitchell's great-great-great-grandson owns the distillery.) Within ten years, its whisky was so well-regarded that a blender by the name of John Walker purchased 118 gallons of whisky from Springbank at 43 pence a gallon.
By the turn of the century — as worldwide demand for Scotch whisky seemed insatiable — distilleries throughout Scotland began cutting corners and outsourcing parts of the distillation process. Springbank Distillery, however, remained true to its Scottish heritage and today, remains one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step of the whisky making process — from malting barley to bottling whisky — on the same premises.
After malting and lightly peating the barley (using locally cut peat), the distillers at Springbank mill and mash it in cast-iron mash tuns that are nearly a century old. The pure spring water used during the mashing process is sourced from Crosshill Loch, which in turn is fed by springs seeping from the northern slopes of 1,100-foot tall Beinn Ghuilean. After mashing the grains, the wash is slowly fermented over the course of 70 hours — one of the longest fermentation processes in Scotland — before being distilled. Because some of the wash is distilled twice and some is distilled three times, Springbank Whisky is said to be distilled two and a half times.
Following distillation, the whisky is aged in used bourbon cas ks. Since Campbeltown is located on a narrow peninsula, the strong, perennial sea winds, warmed by the gulf stream, add a slight hint of saltiness to the whisky as it ages. This incredibly rare limited edition Campbeltown was originally distilled in 1969. Produced in very limited quantities this Springbank 25 year got its rest in sherry oak before being bottled at 46% ABV.

Manoir D’Apreval 1980 Calvados Pays D’Auge
About Manoir D'Apreval 1980 Calvados Pays D'Auge
Manoir D’Apreval 1980 Calvados Pays D’Auge was crafted in 1980 from a unique blend of organically grown apples. Lettelier chose a selection of bitter and bitter-sweet apple varieties, which were rich in tannins and acidity and ultimately provided the calvados with its smooth flavor and full body. Once the apples were harvested and pressed into a tart juice, the fresh cider was rested for ten months in a fermentation tank in order completely transform the sugars into alochol. Next, the cider was twice distilled through a pot still in the traditional Pays d’Auge method and then immediately transferred into oak barrels for maturation.Manoir D’Apreval 1980 Calvados Pays D’Auge was matured in 1,200 liter oak barrels for 25 years, before being transferred into 400 liter barrels in 2005. After maturing for over 33 years, the calvados was brought to proof and bottled. It has a dark mahogany color, along with an aroma of bitter oranges, cocoa and ginger bread. Notes of dark chocolate, orange, citrus and caramel dominate the palate, and lead to a finish accented by tobacco leaves and coffee beans.
Manoir D’Apreval 1980 Calvados Pays D’Auge was named one of the top ten spirits of 2014 by F. Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal. Pick up a bottle today!
About Manoir D'apreval
Since the reign of Charlemagne in the 8th century, distilleries in the Lower Normandy region of France have been distilling calvados — a type of apple brandy. Calvados is made by harvesting and pressing fresh apples into a pulpy juice. The juice is then fermented into a dry cider, which is distilled before being matured in oak casks for a minimum of two years.Calvados has a long and rich history in France. When an outbreak of phylloxera devastated the vineyards of France, calvados experienced a golden age. In addition, during World War I, calvados was requisitioned by the French Army both as a drink for French soldiers to enjoy and, because of its alcohol content, for use in armaments.
Manoir d’Apreval is a family-owned calvados distillery situated in the French commune of Honfleur, which sits in Normandy’s "Pays d’Auge" region, made famous for its production of apples and Camembert cheese. Established at the beginning of the 20th century by Victor Revillon, Manoir d’Apreval has since been stewarded by three generations of Revillon women — Victor’s wife, his granddaughter, and now his great granddaughter, Agathe Lettelier.

Oban 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
About Oban 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Oban Single Malt Whisky is made using 100% barley, which is malted to the distillery's exact specifications. After the barley is malted, it is partially germinated and gently dried over a peat kiln, giving it a slightly smoky, malty flavor profile. The malted barley is then mashed and fermented before being twice-distilled through Oban's lantern-shaped copper-pot stills. The stills are among the smallest in Scotland, and limit Oban's production to just 650,000 liters of whisky annually.Oban 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the third limited release whisky produced by Oban Distillery in its 219-year history. Released as part of Diageo's 2013 Special Release Whiskies, Oban 21 Year Old was matured for 21 years in rejuvenated American oak and second-fill ex-bodega casks before being bottled at cask strength. The whisky has a copper-golden color, along with an aroma of warm gingerbread, caramel, maple syrup and spicy apples. The aroma gives way to notes of creamy vanilla, barley, stewed pears and ginger on the palate, and leads to a finish accented by salty tang and lemon zest.

About Oban
After moving with their widowed mother to the small port city of Oban (situated in northwest Scotland), John and Hugh Stevenson took jobs building and repairing boats at the city's boatyard, a trade they had learned from their late father. In the 1790s, the brothers left their boat-making jobs and founded a brewery in the city. In 1794, they converted their brewery into Oban Distillery, one of the oldest and most prestigious distilleries in Scotland. For nearly a century, Oban Distillery remained in the hands of the Stevenson family. In 1883, however, J. Walter Higgin purchased the distillery and began renovations. While Higgin renovated both the distillery's equipment and structure, he did so piecemeal in order to ensure that the distillery was able to meet the uninterrupted demand for its whisky. Today, over 100 years later, Oban Distillery remains substantially the same as it was after Higgin's refurbishment.

Navarre Vieille Réserve Grande Fine Champagne Cognac
About Navarre Vieille Réserve Grande Fine Champagne Cognac
The vineyards of the Navarre Estate are generally composed of Ugni Blanc grapes (which are known for their high acidity), along with small plots dedicated to the production of Folle Blanche and Colombard grapes (which Navarre uses for experimentation purposes). Once the grapes reach their peak maturity for distillation purposes, Navarre harvests them by hand " a technique abandoned long ago by most cognac houses. After the grapes are harvested, they are fermented and distilled immediately using a 10 hectoliter (250-gallon) copper-pot charentais still.Following distillation, the cognac is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 30 years, although the average age of the cognac is closer to 40 or 50 years. The humid environment of Domaine du Renclos " it is situated along the banks of a river " together with the mild, sunny autumns and cool breezes of the Cognac region, naturally reduce the cognac to 90 proof during its three to five decade-long beauty rest.
Navarre Cognac Vieille Reserve has explosive notes of dried apricots, grapes and raisins that compliment a spicy, oaky undertone. The finish, which is long, luxurious and hedonistic, has slightly earthy notes, along with hints of cinnamon, honey and oak.
Only 60 bottles of this cognac are released into the United States each year. Pick up one of these rare treasures today!
About Navarre
Situated along the banks of the Charente River in southwestern France, Domaine du Renclos was founded in 1811 by Pierre Navarre, a French shipping merchant. The 11 hectares Navarre Estate, which is the equivalent of only 0.04 square miles, is situated entirely within the Grande Champagne cru of Cognac, France. Today, Jacky Navarre " a fourth-generation cognac distiller and on e of the last remaining purists in the industry " tends to the estate with a simple rule: "Let nature do (most of) the work."About Cognac
Cognac is a type of brandy produced in the Cognac region of France.
Because the French take it very seriously, there are numerous rules cognac makers have to follow not to fall “short” into the brandy category.
The white wine from the specific grapes (Ugni blanc) has to be doubly distilled in a copper pot still before being aged for at least two years in oak casks from which the wood can only come from two specific forests in France (Limousin or Tronçais).
Depending on the age, there are three types of cognac, the youngest V.S. (Very Special), V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale), and the X.O. (Extra Old)

The Macallan Rare Cask 2019 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky
About The Macallan Rare Cask 2019 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Situated on a ridge above the banks of the River Spey, the Easter Elchies House has been the spiritual home of The Macallan for over three centuries. In 1820, Alexander Reid began renting the home from Sir Lewis Grant of Grant. Reid was a farmer, and soon after he sowed the fields surrounding the home with barley, Reid established the first licensed distillery on the estate, which he named Macallan after an ancient church that had been destroyed by fire during the 15th century. In the winter — when there was little activity on the farm — Reid would ferment and distill his excess grains into whisky, which was often drunk straight from the still or sold to travelers passing through the town.Today, the Macallan Estate encompasses 370 acres, 95 of which are devoted to the production of the Macallan Estate's Minstrel barley (a single acre produces about 2.5 tons of barley each year, enough to yield 1,800 bottles of The Macallan). In addition, the distillery contracts with farmers to purchase barley that is low in nitrogen and high in starch, resulting in a rich and oily whisky.
After the barley is harvested in late August and early September, it is malted before being mashed in one of The Macallan's two mash tuns, a process that takes between four and eight hours. Then, the barley is fermented with a specially cultured yeast before being distilled twice through The Macallan's copper-pot stills. The copper comprising the stills acts as a catalyst, and enhances the formation of sweet esters while minimizing impurities such as sulphur. In addition, the curiously small stills — some of "the smallest stills within the Scotch whisky industry," according to production manager Alexander Tweedie — produce a whisky with a heavy, oily flavor.
Following distillation, The Macallan distillers remove the heads and tails of the whisky and collect approximately 16% of the spirit to fill into casks for maturation. This "cut," which is among the highest of any Scottish distillery, results in a more full-bodied and and rich whisky.
The Macallan Rare Cask 2019 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky showcases tw o of Macallan's most fundamental pillars: natural color and sherry oak casks, according to Macallan Whisky Maker Robert Dalgarno. Dalgarno hand selected fewer than one percent of the casks maturing on The Macallan estate in order to craft this rare whisky. Expect an exquisite and woody flavor profile with opulent notes of vanilla, dried fruit, and spice.
